SupaDTF Application Instructions
1. Set Temperature and Time
- 320F (160C)
- 15 seconds
2. Lay Garment On Platen
Keep the collar off the press and make sure you have equal amounts of fabric on both sides of the press.
3. Set To High/Firm Pressure
Tighten dial until the press won’t close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes
4. Pre-Press: 10 Seconds
Prepressing releases moisture from the garment ensuring good contact. This is very important when pressing. Repeat this step if there is still steam.
5. Place Supacolor
Position the transfer on the garment. Lay Non-stick sheet or parchment paper over the Supacolor. Keep print away from pockets and collar.
6. Press 15 Seconds
7. Warm Peel After 10 Seconds
We suggest keeping a cloth nearby. After the 15 second press and your top platen has been lifted, before peeling rub the transfer with a cloth in a circular motion for a few seconds. After 10 seconds has passed warm peel quickly and confidently from a corner in one smooth motion. Hold down garment with your free hand for better control.
