Supacolor Promotional on Tote Bag Application Instructions
1. Set Temperature and Time
- 320F (160C)
- 12-15 seconds
2. Load a Test Tote Bag
If possible, slip the platen through the tote bag so there is only one layer of fabric on top. This will improve contact and speed things up! Otherwise, lay the bag on top of the platen. Avoid seams and gussets if possible.
3. Set Pressure
- Manual Press: Tighten dial until the press won’t close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes. Unless pressure on polyester.
- Hotronix and Geo Knight: 7-8
- Pneumatic Press: 35-40 PSI
4. Pre-Press: 5-8 Seconds
Prepressing releases moisture from the bag ensuring good contact. Repeat this step until there is no steam.
5. Place Supacolor Transfer
Position your Supacolor transfer on the bag. Lay the teflon sheet or parchment paper over the Supacolor.
6. Press 12 Seconds
7. Peel Immediately
Hot peel immediately from a corner in one smooth motion. Peel with confidence and without hesitation. Hold down bag with your free hand for better control.
8. Post-Press: 2 Seconds
Use a Non-stick sheet or parchment to seal the edges of the Supacolor.
Supacolor Promotional on and Umbrella Application Instructions
1. Set Temperature and Time
- 290F (140C)
- 6-8 seconds
2. Load a Test Umbrella
Open umbrella and lay on top of the platen, use smallest platen you have. You cannot press over the ribs of the umbrella.
3. Set Pressure
- Manual Press: Tighten dial until the press won’t close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes, use Med to low less pressure for umbrellas.
- Hotronix and Geo Knight: 6-7
- Pneumatic Press: 30-35 PSI
4. Pre-Press: 4-6 Seconds
Pre press umbrella for 4-6 seconds to take out initial shrinkage.
5. Place Supacolor Transfer
Position your Supacolor transfer on the umbrella. Lay the teflon sheet or parchment paper over the Supacolor.
6. Press 6-8 Seconds
7. Peel Immediately
Hot peel immediately from a corner in one smooth motion. Peel with confidence and without hesitation. Hold down umbrella with your free hand for better control.
8. Post-Press: 2 Seconds
