Supacolor Wearable Custom Transfers For Cotton Application Instructions
1. Set Temperature and Time
- 290F-320F (160C)
- 10-15 seconds
2. Load a Test T-shirt
If possible, slip the platen through the shirt so there is only one layer of fabric on top. This will improve contact and speed things up! Otherwise, lay the tee on top of the platen.
3. Set Pressure
- Manual Press: Heavy pressure. Tighten dial until the press won’t close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes.
4. Pre-Press: 5-10 Seconds • Thicker Garments 15 Seconds
Prepressing releases moisture from the garment ensuring good contact. Repeat this step until there is no steam.
5. Place Supacolor
Place Supacolor transfer on the garment.
6. Press 10-15 Seconds
7. Peel Immediately
Hot peel immediately from a corner in one smooth motion. Peel with confidence and without hesitation. Hold down tee with your free hand for better control.
8. Post-Press: 8 Seconds
Use a Non-stick sheet or parchment to seal the edges of the Supacolor.

1. Set Temperature and Time

1. Set Temperature and Time
- 290F (160C)
- 10 seconds
2. Load a Test Polyester Garment
If possible, slip the platen through the shirt so there is only one layer of fabric on top. Otherwise, lay shirt on top of the platen. Avoid pockets if possible.
3. Set Pressure
- Manual Press: Tighten dial until the press won’t close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes.
- Hotronix and Geo Knight: 7-8
- Pneumatic Press: 35-40 PSI
4. Pre-Press: None
100% polyester does not hold moisture, so should not require a prepress unless you just need to smooth out the fabric for 2 seconds.
5. Place Supacolor
Place Supacolor transfer on the garment. Lay a Non-stick sheet or parchment paper over the Supacolor.
6. Press 8-10 Seconds
7. Peel Immediately
Hot peel immediately from a corner in one smooth motion. Peel with confidence and without hesitation. Hold down shirt with your free hand for better control.
8. Post-Press: 2-4 Seconds
